I don't care, I ain't watching the "Sex and the City" movie
My friend and I go to the movies at least every couple months. Well, she called me up today and wanted to make arrangements to see the SATC flick coming out in a few weeks. I laughed into the receiver.

I try to be amiable, but there's shit I just won't watch.

1. I never watched the series, so the movie doesn't interest me.

4. One of the best, funniest, most influential series ever
Everybody I know owns the entire set of episodes. It has entertained my friends and family during many a snowbound, rain-washed weekend. What an influential series it was -- in many ways, it changed New York for better and worse. It certainly helped bring visitors here, helping to revive the post 9/11 economy.

The only thing that worries me about the film is that it won't be as good as the series. That, and the possibility that I will miss the series even more once the final credits of the film roll.

7. I watched the series when it was on, but the reruns on TBS
now strike me as sort of lame. I realize they're edited mercilessly, but I think SATC had its time and place, and I don't know if it will work now.

I rarely see movies in the theater, but I probably will rent it once it's out...the dollar kiosk at the grocery store makes seeing mediocre movies painless!

10. The reruns on TBS are lame
The plot is often driven by sex, cut out the sex and the plots just seem random and make little sense. But yeah, it had it's time and that time is over.

9. I'll probably go see it
but what's the point of the movie? At the end of the series all the women ended up with their true love. Why fuck with that? I loved it but let it end!

12. I can't wait to see the movie. I know nobody who will go with me so I'll have
to likely wait till it comes out on video.
