Does anyone else get Vampiric cravings?
Edited on Sun May-18-08 12:47 AM by DarkTirade
I was in Transylvania for maybe two weeks years ago, drank the blood of maybe two innocents in that time, and yet I still get these weird cravings for that sweet, coppery taste. I'm going to have to hunt down a virgin or something to get some more.

Anyone else strangely addicted?

4. If they all looked like Salma Hayek, we may have to make a decision
Of course, a stake in the heart would take care of any messy break up issues if she gets out of hand

And it's something not easy to put my finger on... the images I conjures of them, the settings I associate with vampires. Yes, all up it's cool.

13. Are you serious?
When I saw Lost Boys for the first time in the theater, I rooted for Michael to hop out of the tree and go slurp some human juice. I was apparently leaning forward and quietly cheering for him to go go go. My roomie actually reached over and elbowed me to shut up and took great joy in telling the story for years afterward. I think she lacked the maniacal gleam that must have been in my eyes at the time.

:)

25. That looks more like Qui-Gon Jinn.
Edited on Sun May-18-08 01:46 PM by DarkTirade
I debated whether to try and make a Qui-Gon costume. I've got a friend who is a fellow long-haired geek and into the whole making-stuff thing like me who has one. He also has a set of Mandalorian armor that he made. I think I'm gonna skip the easy costume and try and make a set of Mando armor for myself too. :P Since I used to make prop lightsabers, and still have a few left over, I thought maybe I'd go for a 'Jedi hunter' kind of character. Have three or four lightsabers hanging from my belt as trophies, use a glue-gun or something to put a pattern on my armor that looks like veins of cortosis, the mineral that in the SW universe causes a lightsaber to short-circuit and turn off when it hits it. :P

Of course, if I called myself a Jedi hunter, I'd have to spend the whole time resisting the urge to break into my best aussie accent and say, "Crikey! This one's a real beaut. What we have here is a geniune Old Republic Sith Lord with a double-sided lightsaber. Now you don't want to tangle with this cheeky bugger, he will slice you to ribbons!"

26. oh crap yeah - that's him.
Apparently I am StarWars-tarded, having never actually seen beyond 3/4/5. I have no doubt that if you tried to fashion any of the above, you would do well, given your cool guitar project. :)

27. I think half the reason I want to make that costume...
isn't so much to make it, but to beat the hell out of it afterwards. I wanna give it burns and scorch marks and have chunks burned out of it... ect. ect. :) I wanna make it look like its been hit by a lightsaber dozens of times, and the only reason I didn't get killed was because of the cortosis ore making the sabers malfunction. :) So basically I'll probably just end up taking my dremel to it and carving chunks out here and there. Then finding some way to paint it to look scorched and pitted afterwards. Since I was thinking about getting airbrushing stuff to give my guitar a new paint job, I could just invest in some brown and black paint for that. :P

That, and I wanna toy around with electronics and stuff. Since it's damn hard to hear and be heard through the helmet, most people who make stormtrooper or Mandalorian armor usually install some kind of microphone/headphones thing in the helmet with some kind of microphone and speaker system outside of it. I was also thinking about going completely over the top and installing some kind of 'environmental controls' since I have some leftover thermoelectric plates from a crazy project I was gonna do but ended up not needing to. (I was sick of the FL heat so I was gonna try and make my own mini air conditioner, just for my bedroom. :P But then I moved and I didn't need to anymore.) I'd just do something simple like buy a little fan from Radio Shack some heat syncs for the thermoelectric plate (or plates, depending on how many I can fit in there and power at the same time) and have it blow air over the plate and into the suit. So nothing too complicated and fancy (which is good, since I don't know how to do complicated and fancy electronics.). But still a nifty feature that'd make it that much cooler (pun intended) than some of the other ones out there.

17. Mmm... David Boreanaz...
... I'll be in my bunk.

Seriously, last season of Angel... between Wesley being all bad-ass and hot and yet still geeky, Spike and Angel having that whole sexual tension thing there, and alternating between Fred being cute and geeky and Aleria with the blue hair and leather... yeah. That was just... damn.
