I say Little Feat and Tower of Power:

1. Do the Traveling Wilburys count?
Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison? They aren't exactly bands, but still a great super combo nonetheless.

Both of them...nekkid. Gotta find the uncensored version specifically, though.

4. The post-Lowell Feat never matched the "Waiting For Columbus" version of "Spanish Moon"...
...and part of the reason, other than the fact that Lowell was SO IN THE POCKET, is the moment in which he declares "Tower of Power HORNS," and the audience responds...

The presence of the T.O.P. horn section on "Columbus" was probably the single greatest instance of that kind of collaboration since The Band's "Rock of Ages."

33. I'm French. Its what I do.
Though the doughy crap used for most bandwiches leans more toward the English "pain" and the French "d'un goût infect."

32. Lennon, Clapton, Richards...
...and add to that Jack Bruce and Jack Casady. There's a great band. I know we got the first three-fifths of this from the Stones' "Rock and Roll Circus," and I know it's four bands' worth of musicians, not two. But think how great that band could've been from '68 on. Dirty Mac's "Yer Blues," from "Circus," made me realize what a crime it was that Lennon never got to rock hard live with a real supergroup such as my imagined line-up. Not taking anything away from the Beatles, mind you (or Stones, Cream, Airplane). Also? Throw in Nicky Hopkins on the keys.

39. Does Velvet Revolver count?
The GNR band with STP's lead singer.

My critique is this: Axl wrote better lyrics, but Scott has a better voice.
