7. Here's what always works for me:
spend some time thinking about what you are GRATEFUL for in your life.

Having an attitude of Gratitude changes everything and shifts your energy, big time.

9. LOL. it isn't anyone
or rather, it isn't anymore and hasn't been for a long time.

it's life in general. or it's not even that... it's my inability to find my joy.

10. Ok. So you need some serious life is stupid sometimes activity.
Like singing in the shower as though you're on American Idol.

Like eating your favorite food no matter what it costs.

Like watching a movie or TV show you liked as a kid.

Like flying a kite.

Like taking a sick day.

Like looking forward to the reality of Bush leaving office. YAY!

Like wearing a bright color.

Like watching Harold and Maude (the movie)

Joy is incomplete without sorrow sometimes.

12. in that case, when I find my joy
it will be a big day.

cause I'm singing howlin' wolf's "how many more years..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYMLuTLf-PU

watched Rock and Roll Circus with my kid after he got home from school. We'd both never seen it before. got it from my local library. vol. to 11. Now my son is singing A Quick One (while he's away.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQW9dCkjQ3k

(the whole dvd is on YouTube in segments.)

anyway - I probably shouldn't have even posted this thread. before, if I ever started to do this, I would immediately delete before I posted - but those went into some detail - if there is any.

I think gd-p is starting to wear on me.

11. My dear RainDog...
I'm sorry you're down, sweetie...

Here's a quote for you, from Washington Irving:

There is a sacredness in tears.

They are not the mark of weakness,

but of power.

They speak more eloquently than 10,000 tongues.

They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.
