Poll question: Very important poll: Peanut Butter
What say you? Feel free to drop the name of your favorite brand.

Obviously, this is bigger than Hillary/Obama so I expect tensions to be high in this one.

9. Another "Either" vote....
Generally, I buy creamy- but sometimes I crave something with a little more substance...

And props to redqueen for the Avatar... "I like chocolate milk....."

as a young lad a long time ago back in a previous century I preferred Chunky. My older stomach would rather not have the chunky now.

I don't eat much of it, but it makes for much more flavorful baked goods than the peanut flavored hydrogenated oil stuff.

http://www.ilovepeanutbutter.com/detail_17010003__4.html

Peanut Butter & Co. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl. It has a little less fat than others, so I can have it on my new low cal diet.

It is yummy!

although next time I bake Chocolate Shadow cookies I will try the suggestion re: non homogenized PB for baking.

Chocolate Shadows have swirls of melted chocolate w/mint extract in it marbled in a peanut butter cookie dough. Wonderful cookies.

Now there was a myth that he was a vegEtarian, but alas...just a myth. So the check is not to be, and the mating will have to wait.

42. You know, they make all natural peanut butter that need not be stirred.
The person responsible should be awarded the Nobel Prize for awesome.

My grocery chain's organic is one such peanut butter. Smooth only. Crunchy is not good. However, since my body doesn't much like peanut butter in large amounts (and really, what's the point of eating just a little peanut butter?), I have to avoid it.

46. I grind mine fresh at the local supermarket.
One machine has peanuts, the other almonds. The ground product is mostly smooth with small niblets of chunks.

I like to spread both together on fresh bread, toasted. Mmmmmm. Has an almost sweet taste.

Other nuts make better butters...try cashew, for example. I like both smooth and crunchy textures some of the time.

then took them out because they really are terrible for you and kinda difficult to make well. Mine are either paste-thick or gloopy-thin usually.

I knew the second I said nut-butter there was going to be a sex joke. Knew it.
