How can something be "inspected" and be missing a dozen parts
I bought a shower enclosure from home depot. It was a sealed box and had several "inspected" tags on it and enclosed inside.

I should have gotten suspicious when there wasn't a parts list.

Missing:

  • the parts list
  • the instructions on how to put it together
  • the wheels the doors roll on
  • double-sided sticky tape to hold the track on
  • the special no-rust screws
  • two of the four brackets that hold the towel rack on
  • plastic bumpers
  • God knows what else

2. This will sound paranoid....but I really feel, sometimes, like....

6. 2nd the Chinese thing
I found a dining set I liked at Target. The reviewers said to get one packed in Malaysia and not China. The China packed ones were quickly slapped together and the parts were scratched.

I got the Malaysia packed one.

4. Well, how much an hour does a shower door inspector make?
You're lucky there was even a shower door in there. :P
