How simply wondrous that is, for just plain ole cheddar cheese. Man, I can't take this ecstasy. Mannn....

15. Isn't it?
Edited on Tue May-20-08 08:41 PM by Gormy Cuss
I had low expectations (cheap, even for TJ's) because I like good cheddar flavor and texture. A lot of cheddars have one but not the other; the Dubliner is good on both counts.

This week I treated myself to another old favorite, Champignon (double cream brie with mushrooms.) When I first moved to Boston years ago I used to buy it at Al Capone's cheese shop in Haymarket.

my daughter loves that Dubliner so i buy it for her and i always end up eating it all myself, i feel kind of bad but hey, it's delicious, delicious wondrous cheese and it seems wrong that it was in the fridge for more than a day.

My ass is getting bigger right now just thinking about cheese.

He'll eat things like pickled garlic and bear meat, but he doesn't like melted cheese on anything.
I think he was switched at birth.

23. I know someone who finds cheese "gross."
She's not vegan or any shade of that--quite the opposite, actually, and a hardcore neoconservative to boot. But she hates cheese and is physically repulsed by it.

:wow:

24. cheese is truly a gift of the gods. My fave grocery has about 500 varieties
in stock at all times. Cheezeomania!

I can't keep it in the house except for thinly sliced swiss for sandwiches because I will EAT THE WHOLE DAMN THING thus ruining all my hard work with Weight Watchers over the prior 2 1/2 years.

cheese is such a trigger food for me.

enjoy your cheese, have some for me

26. I sampled some buffalo mozarella over the weekend
and immediately bought a container of it, without even looking at the price, it was that good.

I went to buy as second one and looked at the price, $8.99 for a seven ounce piece. It was very, very, very good, but not $20.55/lb good. I hate when things like that happen.
