My dear KitchenWitch!
I'd like a virtual pony!

No feeding, no cleaning up, no need to have a pasture...

Just cute to look at!

I'm a lousy rider, BTW...:yoiks:

18. Yeah, I didn't like riding with a saddle either...
but that could have been 'cause it was my ex's saddle and she's a lot smaller than I am and it was built for her. :P

It just felt more... normal to ride bareback. It's just you and the horse. There isn't several inches of leather between the two of you.

25. What, with the slightly too small saddle or without one?
Then again, at least for guys, we kinda have to not touch the saddle while trotting anyway. Otherwise... OUCH.

33. I don't remember if hers was western or english.
it was a long time ago. Back in 2000.

Wow... 2000... time flies.

Damn, I really shoulda tried to hook up with her again when I had a chance a while back. I just realized that I haven't seen her naked in 8 years. (my ex, not the horse. I haven't seen the horse at all since then.) And that's just wrong. :P

I used to ride with at least 4 beers in my pockets
because I wanted to not feel it if I fell off. Rental horses, ya know!! My little sister's horse threw me off twice in one day. Too funny. I'm still here, not sure where she's at...(not my sis, the horse!)

36. Only time I ever rode with any frequency
was the summer after my senior year of high school. The girl I was dating at the time had done a lot of horseriding as a kid, and she wanted to do some before she went off to college. She found somebody who had just gotten an extra horse, but didn't have enough free time to exercise her and take care of her properly over the summer. So she basically rented the horse for the summer. And she taught me the basics of riding. It's been a while, I'd probably suck at it now. :P But I was fairly decent at the time. Never fell off, I had a very friendly and well behaved horse and a good teacher. Actually, I think the horse liked me better than her because she was the one who put the saddle on, and the horse didn't really like the saddle. :P

47. You and me are so in tune it's scary
But riding bareback, it's you and the horse. You can feel it's muscles moving. It's like you are both combined into one being. I don't know... maybe it's about trust - me trusting the horse, the horse trusting me, and you can feel it.

(Sad to say, Khash the sexpert had to have bareback as a sexual term explained to him. What? No condoms? Are you kidding?)

Khash.

19. That's when you come home with the cutest, sweetest one you can find
and have it looking your daddy in the eye when you tearfully announce that if you don't adopt this pony, it's going to go to the glue/dogfood factory tomorrow.

Helps if you practice pouting and lip-quivering for a week or so ahead of time so you don't have to worry about getting a lip cramp at an inopportune time.

31. Hmm. Maybe you overused it as a kid.
That happened to my neice. She could do the perfect pout and lip quiver, but she did it so often that my brother became immune.

Kinda like how I had one ex who was completly immune to puppy-dog eyes... because her parents ran a greyhound shelter from their home and they also loved dauchshunds, so they had up to 10 dogs running about at a time sometimes. :P

41. That's what mirrors are for.
And if you can get a digital camera, you can take a picture of yourself pouting in the mirror and that makes for a perfect Myspace/Facebook pic! :)

I gotta be honest about the jokes though... I'm not quite as quick-witted as it appears. I actually have a tendancy to constantly store little bits of ideas and information in my head. (for instance, I know more about the extended Star Wars universe than any sane person ever should. And yet I can't remember important things, like people's names in real life. :P) So every now and then I'll see an opening and an old idea or bit of knowledge will pop to the surface again. Or two or three ideas will mesh together.
