I simply can't buy into the gender binary. Granted I'm more attracted to men than women, but I don't identify as bisexual - it still plays into that gender binary thang. I hate that. The real questions are; Are you a good person? Are you fun to be with? Am I attracted to you? Are you attracted to me? I love hairy chests, but I also love breasts I can nuzzle my face between. And I don't think I see the difference.

I could have answered this question exactly as you. Probably my only difference is I do have a strong female gender identification and that simply hasn't been my own struggle personally.

I usually say "bi" but prefer men for long-term relationships (I've gone years between female lovers, but can't seem to go very long without a man). Most people just assume I'm strait except close friends.

23. I think there are a few of us that way. Normally I just say 'bi' to make it easier...

But my tastes run quite a few directions. Boy, girl, both, neither... it just depends on the person. Often I find myself attracted to those who, like myself, define themselves as one gender but still have a few traits commonly associated with another. Not sure if that'd fall under the label of 'genderqueer' or what. I tend to eschew labels when I can. :)

My tastes run the gamut of short curvy girls who wear skirts (Mm... cute goth girls) to guys with a bit of muscle on 'em (Mmm... Tom Welling...) and plenty in between.

I do tend to lean toward the feminine in general, but that's certainly not an absolute. The way I see it, I think I don't really have an orientation... just preferences. :)

I define myself as male, but I have some attributes that are definitely more on the feminine side... I tend to prefer women, but every now and then I drool over Tom Welling... (Mmm... Tom Welling...) ect. ect. Hell, even on the gay side of things I don't really fit in. Too pretty to be on the bear end of the spectrum, but too big to be on the pretty boy end of the spectrum. :P

In the end I just have to say screw the labels. I'm me, and that's that. I don't quite fit into most of the pre-defined boxes. So I just stick with being me.

I looked at the poll #s and went 'whoa, more bis around than I thought.' Then i thought I'd click straight to make up for people lying about being bi, then i thought this is an anonymous poll so I'd feel better about telling the truth. LOL

I'm mainly straight, but with a significant bi component: probably 70/30 or 60/40. I see beauty, intelligence, a lovely personality, and other factors which attract me before gender. Not that i get to have sex or anything fun like that: I'm married *whines*. My hub is more gay that straight, I suppose.
