any college softball fans in the lounge?

I've always tried to work a little softball watching into my memorial day weekend. They used to play the Women's College World Series on Memorial Day, but since they expanded the field a few years ago that's been pushed back a week and the super regionals are now on Memorial Day.

The super regionals are on ESPN now. 16 teams playing best-of-three series to get to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Florida already beat California twice to advance to the WCWS.
Michigan vs. Virginia Tech (Michigan won the first game)
Arizona St. vs. Northwestern (Arizona State won the first game)
Arizona vs. Oklahoma (Arizona won the first game)
Alabama vs. Missouri (Alabama won the first game)
Stanford vs. Texas A&M
Louisiana Lafayette vs. Houston
Georgia vs. UCLA

As an Oklahoma fan, I'm hoping that the Sooners can sweep the doubleheader with Arizona today to get back to the WCWS for the first time since 2004. They're up 2-0 in the first game now :)

Prep softball's a Big Deal hereabouts. There've been a few locals who've made a mark in the NCAA, including Monica Abbott, who many say is the best pitcher in college history.

3. I always enjoy watching the WCWS as well as the men's.

College is my favorite level of sports because the players have talent but they aren't all doing it for a living. The women show a lot of spirit and that is a refreshing change from the pros. I don't have a team in this fight but, since I'm from Florida, I guess I'm kind of pulling for them. Hope to see you in the finals fishwax!
