Chip Chops and Mac and Cheese! :bounce:

Chip chops are pork chops breaded in crushed salt and vinegar potato chips, fried, and then baked. :D

3. I'm thinking of going to a movie, in which case the popcorn will be dinner.
I went to a big baptismal party this afternoon and ate and ate and ate. And enjoyed good conversation, and played with the baptized, a beautiful 18 month old girl. If I go to the movie as I'm considering, popcorn and a pop will put me right at my allotted calories for the day. Well, with about 100 left over for some little snack before bed.

So popcorn for dinner. Which is fine by me.

38. Saw Indiana Jones. I thought it was okay, but
my expectations weren't high, thanks to things I'd read here. Not gonna win any Oscars, but nice, light fare for a summer weekend.

7. I had a piece of pagash left over from Friday.
A pagash is basically a pizza with pierogie filling where the sauce would be. A local place around here makes them on Fridays. :9

17. Crab cake for starters
then an asparagus risotto with spinach sauce and shrimp tempura. I prefer the regular garlic shrimp they have, but the chef made some of the best deep-fried flavor I've had. Very light, not greasy at all.

Free. :D

Apparently, Oprah ate these at Donald Trump's estate and said they were the best she'd ever eaten.

They were orgasmic :9 :9 :9 I HIGHLY recommend them...I can't wait to try them again!!!!!!!!

on edit - we served them with grilled onions on top of the patties, and I made baked sweet potato fries served with spicy ketchup on the side!

I'm going to be making vegan ice cream sandwiches for a baking contest tomorrow :D. I don't know if I want to make a vegan brownie base or a crushed cookie base. I may end up making one for each flavor of vegan soy ice cream I bought from Trader Joes's, chocolate and cherry chocolate chip.
