I hope all the other Midwest DU'ers are safe too, but as I was recently in the Twin Cities area and met a good many DU'ers there, well, I am especially worried for my friends....:scared:

1. A small town a bit north of here got clobbered.
We didn't even get rain in Minneapolis -- tornadoes tend to be very localized. But the town of Hugo was more or less flattened; one fatality so far. Scary weather.

2. See Debi's thread. She got hit by a tornado, and is without power.

4. Thanks for asking
:hi:

It didn't hit the southern end of the Twin Cities at all.

As the TV weatherman said, "People in the southern metro area are probably wondering why we broke into regular programming."

It was gray and windy here all afternoon, but now, at nearly 8PM, the sky is clear and calm.

5. The TV just said 150 people were injured, one child killed.
A bunch of houses were flattened and 20 people are still missing. They are showing live video from a helicopter and it looks just terrible.
