What the heck time is it in North Battleford, Saskatchewan?????
I'm trying to figure out when, GMT+1, Michel Fournier is gonna be making his big jump. It's scheduled for 4:30 a.m., Monday, 26 May, from 31,000 feet above North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

2. Saskatchewan has two time zones: GMT -7 and GMT -6.
I dunno which one of them North Battleford is in.

Thank you!

I wanna light a candle for Michel Fournier just when he's about to jump out of a balloon, 31,000 feet up. :scared:

7. I read the article...
...and the first thing that comes to mind is "How does he keep from throwing-up?"

How about that Truglia guy in that same article: a 249 foot underwater free dive on one breath of air?!

Jeez...I feel all macho when I do 1 hour on the recumbent bike... :D

4. According to my H.M. Gousha North American Road Atlas
North Battleford, Sask. is in the Central Time Zone, which I believe to be GMT -6.

11. Would you please come to Switzerland and be my mother-in-law's boyfriend?
She's a map freak, too, and I could use a break.

Various questions/observations that will cause Edith to pull out an atlas and launch a half-hour travel dissertation:
- "How long did it take you to get there?"
- "Have you read (insert book name here)?"
- "Your hair looks nice today."

but not from 131,000.

The highest I could find was 102,000 ft.

http://www.centennialofflight.gov/essay/Dictionary/kittinger/DI29.htm

The third flight, on August 16, 1960, broke records. The Excelsior III climbed to 102,800 feet (31,333 meters), and on his descent, Kittinger freefell at speeds up to 614 miles per hour, approaching the speed of sound without the protection of an aircraft or space vehicle and experiencing temperatures as low as minus 94 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 70 degrees Celsius). He was in freefall for 4.5 minutes before he opened his parachute at 18,000 feet (5,486 meters).
