My promotion was handed to an ex-retiree (from the fucking automotive industry- we build store fixtures) out of spite by my asshole employer.

I've been asked to kiss this fuckers ASS for a week and a half as he makes shit up to justify his existence. I have failed.

I've sent out over 125 resumes in the 48 hours just prior to the long weekend and If I don't get at least 5 to 15 calls back in the following week (or two) I'm going to be in trouble.

When my boss finds out that I've been whoring myself out to every single one of his competitors he will have no choice but to freak out and fire me (even though he can't possibly hope to replace me. (he has tried and failed)).

My S.O. fails to in any way sympathize and sees my career difficulties only as impediments to her happiness. I am a paycheck.

On a semi-serious note, and with the caveat that I know nothing of you or your situation, something I've noticed is that many people assume that their givingafuckingness is obvious and understood, and therefore omit to express it. So, sometimes the impression that nobody gives a fuck is erroneous - they do, they just aren't making a point of showing it.

As for me, I'm mildly tipsy, I've chewed all of my nails down to the limit, never been in the same room as a wii, and I'm always happy to give a fuck as long as it doesn't cost me anything...

I have a newborn head cold and it has my sleep cycle all messed up. I may migrate to the sofa and see if the TV has anything good on at this ungodly hour of the day/night/whatever .

Usually messing around on the computer will make me drowsy. Not tonight. At least I am not aching from head to toe like I was around 10 pm.
