So what's been happening around here in the last 2 weeks?

We were in Europe from the 11th until today, and I am sick unto death of the same stories repeated on CNN International around the clock. We didn't take our phones and only got on the Internet twice to check email - the ridiculous French keyboard in Paris did me in and frustrated my efforts to do anything but a cursory inspection of email.

It does seem that Kate Hudson is now dating Lance Armstrong - wasn't aware of that one. What's new around DU and in the US in general?
