I understand not accelerating rapidly because it uses more gas, but it's a friggin onramp to the expressway. YOU CAN'T MERGE INTO 60 MPH TRAFFIC AT 40!!! And guess what, neither can the 10 folks behind you. It's a safety issue, people.

I understand braking later and coasting, but a red light is still a red light. In this country, we're supposed to stop for them.

Blinkers don't use more gas, so please use them as needed.

Going 55 in the far left lane of the interstate with wide open pavement in front of you may well get you killed in this state.

Cutting off a rig because your rolling stop got you juuuuuust out in front of him...hope you have your next of kin contact info stenciled into your underwear.

9. I've noticed that other than the 40mph on the on ramp thing,

there are FAR fewer stupid drivers here than I ever encountered in FL. I'm not sure if it's a side effect of the fact that we have snow here and people have to learn to be cautious then, or if it's something else.

...for about five miles making sure nobody could pass them and when there were three lanes the one in the far left bumped it up to 80 mph once people were finally able to pass.
