I hit a pigeon- a diseased, filthy pigeon- with my car about two months ago. I felt so bad. My daughter kept taunting me... "Bird killer!".

There was probably something not quite right about it. Birds don't usually get hit by cars. At least this is what my husband tells me when stuff like this happens.

But isn't using an automobile to hit a bird with kind of overkill? Why not just use a bat or a tennis racket?

Picking up an entire car to whack a bird with just seems like too much effort.
