Nobody puts Baby in the corner!!!1!!1 (a hairy tale)
Okay, after all my fretting about having to go to a new hair stylist, I finally bit the bullet and went yesterday. The stylist was nice and understanding and listened when I told him what my hair does and doesn't like to do. We worked together to make my mop behave, so overall, it was a good experience. But zOMG he gave me the Dirty Dancing haircut! It didn't look like it yesterday (what with all the scrunching and heat lamping and poofing), but after my usual regimen today I looked in the mirror and thought, "Hmmm...this looks oddly familiar..." but I couldn't quite place it. Looked again this afternoon, and d'oh! I'm Baby!

...I don't know whether that's a good thing or not...maybe if I had her abs I'd definitely be pleased...

1. Just be grateful you don't have her nose.

3. I used to!
Ditched that just about 20 years ago and haven't regretted it for a minute! ;)

5. Sadly, that was a real career killer for her...
She was sooo incredibly cute and, more inportantly, interesting looking with her original nose. :(

"Wind" was a fascinating exercise in playing "spot the old/new nose".

7. I agree
I thought it was cool of her to try to make fun of herself and her plastic surgery choices in that sitcom a bunch of years back...what the heck was it called...och, had to IMDb it (can't imagine why :eyes:) "It's Like, You Know." Too bad the sitcom blew chunks. She got a good review, though, IIRC.

8. I never got that
I loved her nose.
Now she's just generically pretty.

9. Hee--thanks!
I think I like it. If I get nostalgic for cheesy movies I'll put on my Keds and knee-length shorts and play "Love Is Strange."
