WTF? New James Bond novel released (on 100th birthday of Ian Fleming)...

Heard about this on NPR yesterday. Listened to the short interview with the author today. Looked up the author on Wikipedia (esp. since I know one of the other authors). Then saw the kick-ass cover. On first glance, it looks like a flower. Beautiful cover design!

5. You know what's weird? I didn't even get that part.

I just thought, "Oh typical, the UK version (of the movie poster / book cover / DVD cover) is better". It didn't even occur to me that The Nekkidness might have created such fear in the US publishers. I thought it was just lame-o redesign.


The UK design even has elements of Art Nouveau. :loveya:

Guess I'll have to order from amazon.uk :grr:
