I know it's a long way to Japan from the Marianas but I never knew exactly how long.

4. How about WW II Mediterranean?
How did Indiana Jones jump on that sub and then stay on it while they went to the island to open the Ark? Did he sneak inside? Did they not submerge? I seem to remember one of them turning this thing that seemed to be something that one would turn to submerge a sub.

And what sort of planes did the US Navy launch off of its carriers? Weren't the B-29s just used by the Army Air Force?

did you know 4June 1942 battle of midway
we sank the Japanese carriers Kaga, Akagi, Hiryu, Soryu, and the heavy cruise Mikuma
mostly with SBD's from the our carrier USS Enterprise CV-6, the Yorktown SBD's sank the Soryu,
Hornet SBD's missed altogether....................
