TRACY, Calif. (CBS13) ― Seven Tracy teenagers could face felony charges after admitting to egging hundreds of cars on a four-week vandalism spree.

Tracy police arrested seven teens for misdemeanor vandalism early Monday morning after getting calls from victims.

Police say the teens confessed to buying 1500 eggs and throwing them at hundreds of cars in neighborhoods all around town over a four-week period.

Several Tracy streets are still littered with broken egg shells from the spree. And many victims say they have minor but permanent damage to the paint on their cars from the eggs.

But I also get almost free eggs from a friend. He's got half a dozen chickens-they eat the scorpions and black widows on his place and he gets 6 eggs a day. Costs me a gallon of gas to go there once a month and get 3 dozen eggs.

The yokes on them and they will walk away with egg on their face as the kids confessed and their prints were found on the majority of the shells -- how fragile innocence especially if all your eggs are in one basket and the judge is a little cracked to begin with.
