No matter how badly you screw up for the rest of the year, it won't top my bonehead move last night.

Last night was TM's Spring Concert. Being on the Boosters, I was in charge of watching the back door of the building and making sure the kids had all they needed for their costume changes, etc.

Right before the concert starts, I sent BabyMidlo into the auditorium to get seats and then head to the restroom.

One of the kids stops me and asks if I can get her a safety pin. "Sure, sweetie", I reply, "Hang on one second".

And proceed to walk right into the Boys' Bathroom.

Fortunately, the boys in there are in Show Choir with TM and thought it was hilarious.

So, that gaffe, coupled with the fact that my friend Suzanne's 8yo wants to have a sleep over with ME, not my kids, essentially has sealed my fate as the Michael Jackson of Midlothian.

3. Well, last night I had to let a woman into the boys room

at my daughters elementary school. Her son needed help with his pants. Talk about a weird feeling.

The woman was my daughter's second and fourth grade teacher.
