Who here likes menthol cigarettes?

And I know smoking cigarettes is bad for me and yahdah yahdah, but this is the internet, so you cant get cancer from my post.

I ran out of smokes, and I'm waiting for a cheque (tonight or tomorrow) so I didn't have enough cash to grab some more. My room mate is wonderful and lent me a pack from her carton. Except they're Pall Mall Menthol Lights. I cut the filters off, and every time I light one I try to spit non-existant gum out of my mouth. What is it about minty smoke that appeals?

When I smoke American cigarettes, I smoke Marlboro's, when I smoke Canadians, I smoke the strongest I can get. Light AND minty? What is this, a diet cigarette? Please, fill me in.

and thats exactly what it feels like, bleeding lungs. My friends Mom used to smoke Kools and drink cape codders every night after dinner, just sat there at the dining room table watching her shows, pounding down her drinks and smoking an entire pack of cigarettes. Her Dad worked for Ocean Spray so she always had plenty of Cranberry juice available.

menthols. They are so strong they burn my throat. I asked her once why she smoked them. She said she just liked the taste more than regular cigs.

15. Ugh. I used to smoke Kools

Nasty, nasty things. I had to quit them for normal cigs after a year or so. Everyone I knew was smoking them, and everyone was coughing like old smokers. Even to young twentysomethings like we were, it was obvious they were bad news. I don't know anyone who smokes them now. Now I have to quit these damned marlboros. I've got the monkey, bad. The chantix is lying just behind me on the counter, but it's been there for a year now.

Honestly I don't even taste the menthol anymore, but it does seem to be a lot less harsh on the nasopharyngial region. Occasionally, I have to bum a regular and that's when I notice the difference.

I don't even like chewing on spearmint bubblegum and then smoking. It just tastes weird.

because my friend's brother used to constantly smoke my cigarettes when I was over their house, so I switched to menthol so nobody would bum off of me ;) Not nice, but hey, I was like 19.

American Spirit cigs are the best American cig brand if you like strong ones. Pall Mall is garbage, but in a pinch almost anything'll do. Even mentholated cigs. I smoke them when there is nothing else handy but not by choice.
