Poll question: Did you like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?

Seems to be either you liked it or hated it and as I am contemplating seeing it, I'm curious of the breakdown here in the lounge

3. I'm still torn on it.
it was so...21st century. Computerized graphics kind of killed it for me. But, the story line was interesting, crazy car chase...

I loved how much more "realistic" the other three were.

Kind of like when they frigged with Star Wars. They shoulda just left those alone. This is certainly Ford's last Indy though, and hopefully they'll let it go at that.

4. I thought it was HORRIBLE (Spoilers)
My husband was horrified. Between the aweful script.. the plot to nowhere (including aliens.. seriously), Giggling monkeys??? everything was CG'd to death and nothing appeared real, Ohh.. and the fact that Indy gets MARRIED - well, I thought it was probably one of the worst movies we've seen in years.

A total waste of money as far as I'm concerned. It's like when Lucas decided to throw Jar-Jar Binks into the new Starwars movies... he seems to have no limit on stupid.

6. It was okay
I guess you could say it was satisfying, but not very exhilarating. Harrison didn't do a whole lot in it, except act as a mouthpiece. Yeah, he's old, and too old to be the star of an action-adventure like the Indy movies, but he's still a good guy, and I'm glad they went out on a high note. Although I firmly believe that Last Crusade did most of that, too.

The whole big expensive set was disappointing, only because I recently saw National Treasure, Book of Secrets, and the same kind of set was featured in that as well, what with the water and the hidden cave and all. At least in National Treasure, they had a few laughs to ease some of the tension, and since NT II has been around for a while, they did it first.

I know it's kind of difficult to find an idea that hasn't been used before, but the real craft is taking something which has been used before and looking at it from a different viewpoint. When directors like Spielberg can't make something fresh, you have to wonder why they bother with making new movies, period.

7. SPOILER! It was what I expected and wanted

Basically a remake of his other movies. Long breathtaking chase scene with impossible fighting sequences, some clever snarky remarks.

Edited to take out the SPOILER part
