I have a missing kitty
Haven't seen him all day! I hope Barney is just napping somewhere.

1. Barney is a handsome dude. One of mine likes to disappear
and then just turn up next to my feet like "what?"

is there a sofa or chair in your house that has a little pleated skirt around it? My cats love to hide under those.

2. I don't see my Lucy for days
sometimes. She comes out when she feels like it.

3. *love* to Barney
Maybe he's having a cat's night/day out. Our Percy scares us like that about once a year.

4. Cats are able to find tiny holes in the space-time continuum
and slip into other dimensions. You can look everywhere for hours -- under every couch and bed, in every drawer, in every closet, and they aren't anywhere to be found. Then, all of a sudden (as when you rattle a can opener), they will appear right at your feet, looking up at you with this slightly annoyed expression, like "What?1?"

That's probably where he is.

5. I found him!
The window was open but the curtain was closed, he was birding.

6. Yay!
One time when Puppy was just a little kitten she crawled into a shoe in the closet and stayed all day. I looked everywhere. Except there.

8. glad to know this. I hate it when one of us misplaces a kitty.
of course the kitty misplaces itself, but you knew what I meant.

I liked that two of us described the look on the cat's face as "WHAT???" LOL

9. LOL!
Last month Morrison was outside and hiding for four days. I thought he was never going to come back. But he did! I guess he was just out catting around.

13. LOL!
I know, Barney jumped down from the windowsill and went straight to the food dish like nothing was happening.

14. Huzzah!
A few years back, Brianna vanished for a day or two. She's a real homebody, so I was getting worried. Eventually, she jumps back in through an open window, covered in soot.

I really don't want to know...

15. When I was a kid, there used to be a calico in the neighborhood
who would jump from rooftop to rooftop and climb down chimneys. She was always filthy. Nutty cat!
