Radio Lady: To everyone who liked "Sex and the City" -- so did we!
It was delightful. My husband has seen more episodes than I have on HBO, and last week we decided to give it a whirl!

Delicious -- the fashions were fun and the dialog was very witty.

It was fun to watch the backgrounds and see all the people who were filming with their camera and cellphones. (Crowd control in NYC is pretty difficult, despite what you do, you see people unrelated to the filming who are there for the action.)

I wonder what Chris Noth would look like if he didn't tint his hair.

2. I watched an episode late last night while falling asleep. All the actors looked much younger.
The story line was quite funny -- I guess they're replaying the previous seasons on cable now.

3. Radio Lady, you intimidate me and I don't have the faintest idea why! :-)

5. I have no idea why either! Was it something I said or did?
No worries.

As long as you don't shove outright HATE at me (and I daresay you have NEVER DONE THAT), or judge me, my husband, or my motivations on this site, I'm a pretty agreeable woman!

Right now, I'm just puttering around my house and reviewing a few movies a month.

Think of me as an Ex-Radio Lady! I'm going to have to find a new screen name!

4. I saw it two weeks ago on a sultry summer weekend
Even though I have air conditioning, it's not the same as a dark, cool theater, and I decided to see "Sex and the City" since it was the only movie playing that I hadn't seen yet that I had any interest in seeing.

I was pleasantly surprised; I was not a big watcher of the TV show, but have seen episodes of it during its HBO run, and it was not hard to get into the movie and the characters, even if you haven't seen one episode.

The movie seemed a bit long, but it played out well, and I even found myself shedding a few tears (yes, I'm a sensitive new age guy) near the end of the movie.

7. How sweet, TommyO. We dabbed at our eyes too... both of us have unique ties to
Manhattan, and some of that was at play, too.

I lived there for nine years with my ex-husband (now deceased). I was also married briefly at age 19 to another New Yorker, who is still alive in his 80s and works part time as a doctor on Central Park South.

My current husband's mother was born in Brooklyn and he spent much time there in the summers with his Mom and her family.
