West Chester, PA! Habitat for Humanity fundraiser TONIGHT featuring Anna Wilson!

I was going to post this earlier in the week, but I didn't have sufficient Internet access while I was on vacation.

Tonight (Sunday, July 27) from 5-7 at Doc Magrogan's Oyster House in West Chester, PA, Habitat For Humanity will be holding a benefit featuring a performance by jazz vocalist/singer-songwriter Anna Wilson and her husband Monty Powell. Both have written or co-written songs by Rascal Flatts, Chris Cagle, Chuck Wicks, Keith Urban and others. The proceeds of the benefit will be put towards meeting a $75,000 fund-raising goal for an upcoming "Women Build" house. The cost is only $20, which I believe gets you the show, food and drink specials.

1. do you know Jim Jones?

He was the faculty advisor for the college democrats when I was a student in 2003 and 2004.

He also ran for mayor of west chester as a Democrat a year or two after that.

He's got a very interesting website, http://www.wcjim.com/ (wc stands for west chester)

He's a very cool guy, I wonder how he's doing now.
