23. I used to do that when I was young
I'm really lucky to still have as much hearing as I do!

My husband - otherwise known as Mr. Brain - says it's because men have louder jobs (with tools, etc).

Mr GoG occasionally asks me to hold a board while he cuts it with an electric saw. I have to use earplugs, but he never does.
