I got a check in the mail!
I signed up last year in a class action lawsuit against the record companies for price gouging. I never thought I'd hear anything from it but LO and BEHOLD, I am $13 richer. What should I spend it on?
I thought about something nice for the Mrs Eumenides but, too bad. I think I am heading to the piggly wiggly for some of those nachos and imitation cheese.

1. I got mine yesterday too!
$13 for the 5,000 cds I've purchased over the last decade. Didn't seem like much.

2. With $13 you ought to be able to take the Mrs. with you
and just stuff yourself full of nachos from Piggly Wiggly. Share the wealth!

8. Yup...got mine too...
Figure that covers about three of the 600 CD's I've bought...Of course, I don't buy much major label stuff anyways.

Funny, I bought a double spoken word CD from Henry Rollin's label for $10.00...His quote:

"I reckon $10.00 is a pretty good price. The price can also be an indicator as to how much CD's really cost to make, and could possibly raise questions as to why they can be so expensive in stores these days"...

Henry rules!!! Just saw him do his spoken word thing a coupla weeks back...his "in love with Ann Coulter" spiel had me laughing really hard!

11. I got one also
What's this all about?

No doubt some filthy Liberal program designed to take money from the righteous and just corporate world and redistribute it to the ungrateful and undeserving masses. ;)
