What a great show. It's perhaps the truest portrayal of war and warriors that I've ever seen.

1. I'm captivated.

Terrific.

But it's by David Simon, who did "The Wire" and "Homicide", so I knew it was going to be out of this world.

I remember reading the original Rolling Stone article by Evan Wright back in 2005. I was at the DFW airport on 2 hour layover, and was right outside the USO lounge. I kept on seeing men and women in uniform walking by. It was one of those surreal moments.
