Personally, i didn't sign up for the text thing. Three reasons:

1. The press signed up too, so I'll know pretty quickly.

2. I don't need a political campaign knowing my cell phone number. I'm voting for him, and I don't need to be pestered about it.

3. I keep my phone powered off most of the time, and I'd probably hear it on the news before I read the text message.
