The voting SCARE of my life!
I just went to vote. I got in line, when it was my turn to give my street name and ID, I did, and then panic struck!! I looked down at the sheet and saw that my name was already CROSSED OFF!

The woman crossed my name off when my MOM went to vote. We have similar names! I fucking freaked! :scared:

They made me fill out this form and then I was able to vote, but for a second there I was flipping out. I didn't know what would happen!

I voted a straight DEM ticket! :bounce:

I live in a town of about 18,000 or so. I would say there are 3,000 in my district and it was freaking PACKED! By packed I mean about 10 people in line to register ahead of me and all six booths were full. I never had to wait in line before for any election! Never.

Good time! :bounce: :hi:

2. Vote by male, eh?
I'm guessing that's why Clinton lost our primary?

I too am glad that we do vote-by-mail, one of the safest elections in the country with the highest turnouts.

4. I think voting by male might be okay...
unless CreekDog was in charge of the election.

3. It was ridiculously easy for me.
It was five minutes from the time I left my house to the time I walked back in. Small town. No line. Snap.

7. That would be a bad feeling
Glad it worked out so that you could vote.

This is such an amazing election - my daughter sent me the photo of her ballot and I know several people who took pictures of theirs. In 30 years of voting, I've never seen this level of energy and excitement.

8. That happened to me when i voted in the Canadian election. Only it wasn't
my mother. I don't know what happened. But I had to swear an oath that I was not voting twice. I hate that when it happens.

Congrats on voting for Obama in this historical election. WhooHOO!:woohoo:
