1. I'll let you know tomorrow, but despite Dalton being my favorite,
Daniel Craig is my favorite.

4. I thought "Living Daylights" was boring and "License to Kill" was KILLER, just KILLER.
I couldn't get into "The Living Daylights," no matter how hard I tried.

But "License To Kill?" I loved that movie. I thought Carey Lowell was one of the best "Bond Girls" EVER, and Robert Davi was an excellent "Bond villain" (yeah, I know he's a big-time Republican and stumped for McCain, but we're talking about a movie, not having Robert Davi over for lunch)...

PLUS the bonus of Wayne Newton...AND Talisa Soto...

:toast:

6. "Licence" was great...
Davi was a great actor, Talisa was wooden but yes she looked very lovely indeed... And I'd rather have a singing Fig Newton in place of Wayne... it's one of my faves.

I have a soft spot for "Daylights",but agree it has problems...

9. "License" is one of my favorite Bond films
Dalton played Bond as far more psychologically complex than anyone before or since. Davi was physically menacing in a way that few Bond villains (as opposed to their henchmen) have been and his portrayal of Sanchez was genuinely chilling. And Frank McRae, the guy that played Sharkey, was the dad of my best friend in law school.

"The Living Daylights" was full of good performances, but the plot was so convoluted that a scorecard was needed. Maryam d'Abo sure was scrumptious, though.

3. Well, he looks nice, but his acting ability and confounding nature sold me...
Bond should do the unexpected and, in times of dire situations, be politically incorrect. (As in "The Living Daylights"; Bond rips off a woman's gown to distract a guard to gain an advantage before being shot to death.)

5. Connery
Difficult to choose because culture and fashion change. No doubt Craig #1 in this generation. But Connery established the role and will always own it.

7. Connery will always be Bond,
but I have to admit that the new guy is the first I'm willing to accept in the role since--and I don't even care for blonds. Honestly, everyone else in between has been totally wrong for the part. Wrong or totally ridiculous. (Roger Moore? Puh-leeeze!)

11. Woody was Jimmy Bond, not James
BIG difference! ;)
