1. Because lovers are liars.
Can you imagine what kind of world it would be if those who uttered the word "forever" actually KEPT IT?

8. fuck if I know Robeson
why didn't I ever have a chance for a good thing to start...much less end.

I need to quit feeling sorry for myself. I had plenty of chances. I just did not know a good thing when I saw it. It is my own fault.

Duane ~sigh~ Duane

15. I have a thought on this.
I don't think love is sad, but sometimes when a person feels less loved because of events, a friend moving away, or a loss, it saddens them when they think of the love they will not share with that person.

But these are all temporal projections. What will be tomorrow, who we might see or meet is only an imagined projection of how we choose to feel. Will tomorrow be a happy day or a sad one? who knows, but we seem to choose which one we think on.

So the sadness of someone not being their, can be replaced with the hope of different love around the corner. It sort of makes it a choice. Or sadness of a mistake, can be replaced with the knowledge of what was learned, and a better future from the lessons, even the lessons that were not the easiest.

I also think sadness in the past only exist when one thinks on it, yesterday is passed, but if a person chooses they can stay in a sad moment or a happy one, again it becomes a choice. And I have found by choosing love, within that choice reality shifts, and better things once imagined become real as your own feelings radiate outward.

I think their is a little more to this, their are forces that want to keep people sad, and will try to keep that sad spirit over them. But I really believe it can be dispelled, or cast off, for me it is with the knowledge of the love of God, and his forgiveness. Plus I like things like music and laughter of coarse, I think God gives us those wonderful things to help chase the shadows away.

Take the movie city of Angels for example. It has sadness and love. The sadness comes from the thoughts of the characters loss of love. Yet we can focus on the love in the film, knowing it comes around again, if we choose to believe that. We can also choose to visit the love in our memories, instead of the sadness.

Their is a scene in city of angels, where Cage is asked was the loss worth the love. He speaks of the magic of one day, as he thinks on that beauty and love, as having more worth then 1000s without that love.

Many songs are about that movie, some focus on the sadness, some focus on the love. I really only see the love in that film now a days, and in the songs.

I like these songs, I think it is possible to hear the angels singing through songs.
