1. Definitely.
The long version of Cabaret Voltaire's "Sensoria" -this video and others by them were on display at one of the State's major museums of art.

"The Evening's Young" by Yello.

Pretty much anything by The Residents and / or Renaldo and the Loaf.

Top of the charts: Laurie Anderson, "O Superman". Still gives me goosebumps.

4. "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid," Hall & Oates, 1984:
I was really happy to find this on YouTube a while back. I always thought that "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid" was the moment in which it all came together for Hall & Oates...listen to Hall's "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH"...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ0ov4Xes1s

...visually, I was always a sucker for the sparks and water flying off the guitar strings. It's a perfect balance between a straight performance vid and the special effects-laden stuff that became a staple during MTV's mid-80s. The end has a nice "melodic / threatening" sort of Beatle-esque, "I Am The Walrus" feel in its repetition.

Hall & Oates hit a peak with the "Big Bam Boom" album that they've never recaptured, but what a peak it was.

:toast:
