Anyone know who the young blond guy

is who was with Elijah Wood in all his interviews at the Academy Awards. He was completely ignored. I'm pretty sure he was in the film.

played either merri or pippin, i cant keep em straight... but he was in master and commander too... so he got plenty of attention if it is how i think it is.

As the post below shows, Dominic Monoghan, not Billy Boyd, but regardless.... It's pretty clear he was Elijah's date, and when LOTR won best picture, they were close to a kiss.
