What do you have to complain about?
At the moment, I have a lady who insists on standing right outside the front door to this reception area and having her lenghty, loud-voiced cell phone conversations in the hallway. I missed her not being in the office while she was sick, but I didn't miss hearing all the blah blah blah.

:banghead:

1. Complain?
I want to complain.
You want to complain! Look at these shoes. I've only had them three weeks and the heels are worn right through.
No, I want to complain about...
If you complain nothing happens, you might as well not bother.
Oh!
Oh my back hurts, it's not a very fine day and I'm sick and tired of this office.

4. The silverback bitch that came back from her Thanksgiving vacation today.
Edited on Thu Dec-04-08 01:22 PM by Shell Beau
The office was so serene without her here. I despise this woman. I hope I get to fire her one day. She reeks of bad karma. And she sabotages people's work. She better not fuck with mine.

We call her silver back because she looks just like one. I know that is mean. Shoot me. I can be mean sometimes (not often thankfully). Even though I didn't come up with the term, I sure laughed my ass off when I heard it used to describe her.

when I came into work this morning there was a foul odor throughout the entire Institute, apparently our sewer backed up and now there are not enough glade plug ins in the world, coupled with the fact that you cant open the windows because it is a secure facility, I am sitting here breathing in a toxic soup of human waste and cinnamon apple holiday glade!

How about being fucked with? Having your emotions manipulated? Wanting to puke. Shaking. Trying your absolute hardest to deal with a situation that makes you want to scream or just fall down and writhe in pain, because you want to make yourself a better person than you really are, because you know that there's a slim chance that you could be that better person. Fuck this. Seriously, I have no idea what to do. I want to disappear, but since I can't, I'm going to drink this bottle of bourbon, wake up tomorrow, and do it all over again.

On the big-picture front, everybody I love is healthy and reasonably happy, I'm doing okay, and my job couldn't be better.

Considering some of the truly awful things fellow DUers have been going through lately (and given that one of my almost-in-laws is doing okay after hideously tough surgery this week), I'll be grateful for the important things, and not sweat the small stuff like moderate financial pinches and these fucking menstrual cramps. ;-)
