About the jeep salesman/dealer that refused to acknowledge the price listed on their website in plain view was there at all?

Well, in the last two days I have received 3 phone calls from them, each one with a lower price than the last.

Right now, they are offering to sell it to me for only 1K more than the price listed on the webpage there is a screenshot of in the link above...

1. Don't walk onto a car lot here. They swarm you I was looking at what was out there with my wife.

And we thought they were closed, it was Sunday. 4 guys rushed the car from the front lobby. Felt like a rock star with people clamoring around the car. My dealership that sold me my car has been calling nonstop for months. offering me all kinds of deals.

That particular dealership is the pits.

You know, I miss the blue laws. Most of the dealerships here are open from 8 am to at least 10 pm 7 days a week here. There is no day of the week to just go look on the lot to see what they have without the circling vultures...

The Five dollar gas thing was a warning. We blew off the one in the late 70's. Hopefully everyone knows that five dollars and far beyond (think Europe) is right around the corner.

6. I never thought I'd hear anyone say they missed the blue laws

There was a time, back before you were born, witchypoo, that everything was closed on Sundays here as well. It was a big deal when the Supermarkets (Ralphs was first IIRC) broke through to seven days a week.

8. When it comes to the blue laws, the only one I miss is the car dealership one.

It was nice, when starting to shop for cars, to be able to go on Sunday afternoon and not get hounded by the sales people.
