She must have just had this stomach virus. The baby is tiny still, but it's certain that it's not an ectopic pregnancy. The doctor said she's technically "at risk of miscarriage", but I get the feeling that's just a term they use to cover their butts in case something happens.
6. Everyone is at risk for miscarriage. Especially early on!
Glad it wasn't an ectopic.
My tube never ruptured with either of my ectopics. I was given the methotrexate shot both times and luckily it worked. I ended up having to get my tube removed anyway. Both of the ectopics damaged it beyond belief. I really think that is why I finally had a good pregnancy. We got that diseased tube out. It wasn't but 1 month after the surgery that I got pregnant.
11. Great news! The early months of pregnancy can be touch and go.
Congratulations to the parents and to you! :toast:
My first baby is due on Dec. 22! I'm over 40, so the doctor has been monitoring me carefully. Fortunately, everything has gone perfectly so far! It's just a few more weeks until we meet our baby boy!
14. Thanks! We are very happy! The baby will be the best Christmas present ever!
Everything has been so easy so far (no morning sickness or other symptoms and only a moderate weight gain of 19 pounds so far) so I'm hoping the actual birth will go just as smoothly!
