Is it good that only assholes like me stick around?

I mean, hey, I'm the first to admit I am a grade A asshole.

If you met me in person, you'd think the same thing until I offered you dinner and a bong hit with the family. But I digress....

I will admit I am an asshole on this board sometimes, because I am very vocal of my opinions. I don't like religion, I don't like Republicans, and I don't like hicks.

But I worry that assholes like me will scare off intelligent minds that disagree. I can't help myself tho - I feel very passionate about my things, and when I come across someone who attacks - I fight back. It's in my nature.

So I ask, is it good that assholes like me end up sticking around?
