You ask a good question. It's a question I have always had. Anytime we venture out of these padded cells to mingle with the oh-so-serious (translated: full of themselves) GD and GD: P types, they stick their noses up in the air. in days of yore, when Lounge threads could go to the greatest page, there were many times when threads with titles such as "Do breasts typically get larger or smaller while cooking?" or "If my nipples don't settle down, I'm trading them in!" or "Rats! I fucking fucked up again! Dang!" would appear on the greatest page.
The DU chieftains decided that having such threads on the greatest page made DU look weird. So they offered a sacrifice to the Tubal Gods, and from that day forward, Lounge threads were quarantined to the Lounge, never to migrate.
