No, not on here. From another message board.

And she lives in Morocco.

I think it's a mutual thing, too.

Well, she's going to university in the states next year, at least.

Ha. I'm a silly girl.

2. That happened to me a lot in the early days of the internets
of course, when you go to meet them in person down the road, they end up being married, or a lot different than what they described, etc, etc.

5. Yes, quite a contrast
True – there is a bit of a difference there. I would say in those early days, when the internets were merely tubes connected together, I met maybe two women from online that I found attractive physically, and I ended up marrying the second one in 1998, which was followed by her filing for divorce less than a year later. And, yes, after we had met in person from online, we had a regular relationship for 18 months or so before we got married.

I learned my lesson, though. After we got divorced, I did not get too worked up over women from online and would try to meet them in person more quickly, before I got too into them from just chatting via IM and the phone. Strangely, from late 1999 through 2001, I met a ton of women that were extremely attractive physically, as in, “Why is this goddess dating me?” attractive.

7. it happens
that's how things go.

It's better than having a crush on someone that you see all the time who lives with her boyfriend.

8. People do develop real feelings for people they meet online.
It's nice that in your case, it's reciprocated, but that also makes it a bit hard.
