I am sick and tired (and tired, and sick) of Turkey

Turkey sandwiches, turkey on a plate, turkey salad, turkey tacos - we've been very inventive with using leftovers, but the gamey flavor in turkey made me just choke on my sandwich...

The longest I would keep poultry leftovers is less than a week. Maybe it is time to give up the turkey.

7. Well its finished...

I did tricks to keep the Turkey (storing in rock salt in the fridge helps)- let me put it this way - I am efficient if anything. If I end up with ALL of the Turkey leftovers, I'm going to use them dammit!!!

But they're gone now. The last of it thrown into a soupy Chile Verde. It looks nothing like its original incarnation. Its pure peppery madness at this point.

4. Why do people buy larger turkeys than they can eat?

I've never understood this. I don't eat meat anymore, so it's not a problem for me. But everyone seems to complain about having to eat turkey leftovers. Here's a wacky notion...maybe people should buy the appropriate size turkey. I know, it seems unworkable, but worth a try.
