2. I voted rope toy
however, once when we were gone, the dog did somewhere find a box of nails and seemed to have had quite a good time with it. We were horrified, of course, but there didn't seem to have been any nail ingestion.

It's good that you respect her and would trust her with that. That's almost as large a display of love as if you were to tear apart of box of nails with your mouth because we were bored when she wasn't in the yard.

22. Kongs are great
I fill mine with non fat plain yogert and freeze them and tell Chyna it's her ice cream. She loves them. PB is great too--she gets separation anxiety so I put some pb in her kong and give it to her as I am leaving. Keeps her happy and calm.
