1. So, we're voting on movies that haven't been released yet?

3. The guy who does this has seen most of them

"Well, since last week’s edition I have seen The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Doubt, Revolutionary Road and earlier today I saw The Reader. I can tell all interested parties that I think all four are quality films, but obviously some get me a bit more excited than others."

4. I know there's a lot of sentiment for Heath Ledger

I'd like to see this.

But I just don't see the Motion Picture Academy nominating a dead man for Best Supporting Actor. Even if it is deserved.

Josh Brolin for "Milk" is a good choice.

5. Bio pics tend not to win too many awards

the exception being Ghandi

so Milk may get some nominations but I doubt anyone from it will win

But then I don't see movies in theaters anymore so what do I know?
