Are there days you feel purely evil and bitchy?
Yesterday I was like that, just something deep and primal making me want to lash out, and today I feel just fine, like a different person although there's nothing really different about the two days.

I guess it could be hormonal. I don't have periods anymore (hysterectomy), so I don't keep track like I used to. On days like yesterday, I feel like wearing a sign, "Leave me alone if you know what's good for you."

So, should I seek psychiatric help or do you have your own horror stories?

1. Not quite like that, but...
... there are days when I get irrationally frustrated when the slightest little thing goes wrong. Even fixing the problem doesn't really make me less frustrated, it just hides away until the next minor irritant pops up.

2. Same exact thing here.
Minus the hysterectomy.

I was famous for it. I got these bumper stickers for my birthday
one year.

6. I think it's normal.
I have days like that, too. I also have days where I get this feeling of impending doom. Thankfully both pass.

9. I'm sure my husband is thankful as well.
Yesterday it was so bad, he even took the dog and left the house. And, he brought me back donuts and kisses. The sugar buzz only lasted for about an hour.

10. You know it's really bad when just someone's
existence irritates you. At least you have reasons.

11. I don't know about evil, but I can definitely get my bitchy on...
I have tracked mine and it actually doesn't coincide with my cycle, nor does it have any logical pattern. I am sure it will make my next husband as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs (as my hillbilly grammie says :P)

12. Stress, illness and lack of sleep
have been known to make me exceedingly cranky. But in general, I'm fairly even-tempered.

16. IF, and that is a big IF, it turns out you should "seek psychiatric help"
for that, I'm in deep, deep trouble. Your "Leave me alone if you know what's good for you." sounds mild compared to my days where an Uzi barely fulfills my fantasies.

This morning, I saw on the news crawl thingy a description of how a cashier in Monroe, NC handled an armed robber. The cashier slammed the cash register drawer on the bank robber's fingers then beat the living shit out of the robber with a broom handle. The image of that in my head did wonders an Uzi could only dream of fulfilling. Something about that story just made me feel unusually good. I know I am probably evil for that, but I cannot help it.

Other days, I'm fine. On those days, I have no violent thoughts and no real feelings of "the other humans are just wasting my damn oxygen."

I am happy to report that while I do sometimes still have the violent images, the violent impulses/urges are gone now. I just sort of think about it sometimes now instead of having to constantly fight the urge to the point that it interferes with my daily life. Plus, I haven't had any suicidal thoughts in years now. Bonus! My PMDD is rather subdued now. So, the Zoloft must be working to some degree.

You are probably fine with your feeling of "Leave me alone if you know what's good for you." At least you do not have to fight the urge to choke the living shit out of the idiotic right wing rednecks that surround you. :P

17. Well, I would discuss it with a doctor and have my hormone levels
tested and if those were fine, go from there.

18. It's only once in awhile
for the most part I'm OK, but on days like yesterday, I feel like an alien being has taken over.

I'm going to the doctor Thursday for my annual workup. I know he usually does thyroid, but I'm not sure about hormones. It might be nice to see where I'm at in the premenopausal spectrum.

19. More and more every day.
But I did just pick up my kids off the bus so they wouldn't have to walk down the drive in the cold. I guess I should get some points for that.
