Why oh why do networks always axe the funniest shows?

1. I am insanely sad to see it go - it's one of the funniest shows on air,

but also about the most insightful in terms of political and social issues. And, thankfully, does so from a properly human standpoint.

And as last week's show pointed out for us, it's also the only one that actually has old people as legitimate characters, and not just as "old person" comic relief.

It's such a brilliant show, I was absolutely stunned when I heard it was being cancelled.

But, I suppose they need to make room for "Skating Idol judged by American Hero Tony Hawk" or whatever fucking idiotic thing America wants now.

5. I know - last week's episode was dead-on: "The only show
with stars over 50 is B____________"

Damn. Great writing, and I don't think it had 'jumped the shark' as Ally McBeal did. Never caught on to "The Practice", either, but Boston Legal just grabbed me with its humor and insight and poignancy. And, I love James Spader, and loved seeing all the former SciFi characters show up every now and then.

When it goes, there is nothing on the networks that I'll watch. Some people say I should try 30 Rock, and maybe I will. But I don't think anything currently on offer will grab my interest the way BL did.

3. Absolutely
I love everything about it, especially the cast and the writing. I just hope they don't replace it with yet another dumb-ass reality show.
