Why do they call it a blanket of fog?

it's not a very warm blanket!



This is what it looked like this morning, and will again tomorrow







They say we might have snow here in central CA Sun-Tues!

1. I hate fog like that. I had a really bad wreck one time because
of fog. My best friend ran a stop sign onto a major highway and we got t-boned. The stop sign was next to a very well lit store but it was that foggy. Be careful.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Right after posting this thread I fell asleep!

Good thing is that even when it's foggy like this, there are street and stop lights since am living in town, so it's not horrible in getting to work. But, still have to go pretty slow. Am only about a mile from work.
