I've been outed to my Freeper boss by his tiny Sicilian wife!

LostinVA did not go to the company Christmas party, instead staying home to watch "Ice Castles," because my insane Freeper boss was under the impression that I was married to a man.

So, I get there, and his wife is like, "Where's LostinVA, you could have brought her!" I'm like, "her?"

Flash forward a couple hours and I'm out in the garage having a smoke and Freeper boss walks in, "Haruka, I didn't know you had a significant other, a partner, you know. I asked where your husband was, and my wife said you had a partner. She knew about it for months. I feel like an idiot. I mean, I know I'm a jerk about stuff, but I'm cool with that. I'm not a jerk about that."

Most awkward cigarette ever.

"It's NONE OF YOUR GOD-DAMMED BUSINESS who she is with and who she loves. Do you want me to go around talking about your personal life?" I would say that to both him and her. And specifically to him I would say, "You ARE A JERK just for saying that. As if it's an issue that you can even be a jerk about or not be a jerk about. I happen to think you're insensitive, ugly and stupid, but hey, I'm not a jerk about those things, so it's OK."
