Is it wrong to enjoy watching someone be hungover?
In reference to this:

Puking, sick as a dog hungover today. Can't even get out of bed.

Ok, I'm not enjoying it, but I'm not playing caretaker either. I've just been cleaning all day and just put up the Christmas tree. Busy busy and not hungover, that's me.

:)

I can say one thing... Your life is far more complicated than mine. I am not in the loop with why you are having to deal with an ex - I made mine ex's for a reason - I didn't want to deal with their particular variety of crazy.

You are visiting an ex in a house you own... That spells problem all over the place....

I think you should post a short bio so some of us can catch up with the madness which is your life.

As for enjoying anothers yucky hangover... Yep, all's fair in ex love and craziness....

edit to fix typo!!!

5. No, it's my parents' house
He is a part-time caretaker for my Mom, who's currently in the hospital. He lives here most of the time, and helps my brother out.

I've been here all week working on getting the house cleaned up, with him and my brother.

He's a member of the family, basically. We've been best friends for 17 years. It's...complicated. :)

7. Well then
He is serving a purpose - and he obviously cares about your Mom... I think.. Probably, his madness last night is due to some unresolved feelings for you though --- At least it seems obvious to me who knows next to nothing about what you have to do day in and day out.

I hope your mother is doing as well as can be expected - I do know you have been handling some difficult things regarding her for a while now.

I do hope your holidays will be happy and bright - Please take some picture of the ex's hangover and print them out for the refrigerator art collection... It is the right thing to do - :)
